Most of the games of the 6th round of the Spanish League were one-sided contests. Even the big match of the day, Terrassa – Barceloneta, lacked real excitement.

Barceloneta led for most of the time of the game against Terrassa. Only the first quarter was balanced. Terrassa took the lead just once (4:3). But after the 4th goal, the home side couldn’t find the net in the following 13 minutes, while Barceloneta made a 6:0 series, which put the champion on the right track. Midway through the third quarter, Barceloneta jumped to a comfortable 9:4 lead. Alvaro Granados was a hero of the match. He scored six goals.
Barcelona trounced Tenerife 15:9.
Sabadell recorded an away win, as well as Barceloneta and Barceloneta. Sabadell opened the match against Mataro with a 5:0 blast. Mataro started coming back, scoring three unanswered goals in the second quarter. However, Sabadell retook control after the middle break and cruised to a 10:4 victory.
Sant Andreu defeated Catalunya 10:7. Defenses dominated in the first quarter (1:1). Sant Andreu built a 5:2 lead by the end of the first half. The hosts went to 7:3 in the third quarter and ruined all Catalunya’s hopes.
