World ParaVolley Seeks Nominees for 2022 World ParaVolley Awards > World ParaVolleyWorld ParaVolley

World ParaVolley is continuing to seek nominations for the 2022 version of the World ParaVolley Awards.

The work of the World ParaVolley Awards Committee since 2019 resulted in 120 sitting volleyball recognition awards being approved and distributed by the Board of Directors on International World ParaVolley Day 2020 and over 75 standing volleyball awards on International World ParaVolley Day 2021.

The Committee’s target for International World ParaVolley Day 2022 is to enable the Board to recognise the outstanding achievements of individuals, in sitting or standing, who have not yet received a recognition award but who meet the criteria. Beach awards will also be considered at the relevant time. The Awards Committee are now also considering nominations to the Board in the ‘Distinguished Service’ and ‘Honorary Life Member’ categories.

International Member Federations are expected to play a major role in the nomination process. Nominations are also invited from any member of the WPV Board, Department Directors, Zones, Commissions and Committees. Nominations/applications will also be considered from individuals.

Nominees may come from any area of WPV service at international level, including, but not limited to – playing, coaching, refereeing, classification, anti-doping, medical, technical, administration, governance, media, sponsor, research or event organisation.

For all individuals nominated both a profile and photo need to be submitted. Please ensure the guidelines are followed. The guidelines may be freely distributed to enable individuals to complete their profiles and provide a photo which meets the requirements.
