WPV Honorary Life Member and multi-medalled coach Hadi Rezaei will be back at the helm of the Iranian men’s sitting volleyball team after inspiring Iran to its seventh Paralympic Games gold medal.
The Iranian federation brought back Rezaei, who had left as national team coach less than a year ago for his retirement. After leading his team to a gold medal in Tokyo 2020, the legendary coach will return and lead the team to the 2022 Sitting Volleyball World Championships in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Coach Rezaei led Iran to win gold medals in Sydney 2000, Beijing 2008, Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020; and as an athlete won gold in Seoul 1988, Barcelona 1992 and Atlanta 1996.
