CHILDREN across the town who would not have had a present to open on Christmas Day will receive a gift thanks to a toy drive led by the Droitwich Lido Park Tennis group.
Funds were donated, town businesses were asked for help and some toys were donated from local companies.
More than 150 toys were collected in total and have been distributed through the Droitwich CVS and local schools, including Chawson First, Witton Middle and St Peter’s CofE Academy. Some were handed out to families in crisis via West Mercia Police.
And last week, volunteers wrapped the presents ready to be given to those who needed them.
Droitwich Lido Park Tennis group wants to thank everyone who gave so generously.
