New York (Reuters) – The highlight of the second day of the US Open, the last Grand Slam tournament of the year, at Flushing Meadows on Tuesday (Greenwich Mean Time):


Fourth seed and former finalist Karolina Pliskova began her first round match against Caty McNally in the United States at Louis Armstrong Stadium, with temperatures around 28 degrees Celsius (82.4 degrees Celsius).
