Novak Djokovic delights tourists in Herceg Novi, Montenegro

World No. 1 Novak Djokovic is currently on a vacation but still he hit the practice courts. Djokovic, who failed to win a medal for Serbia at the Tokyo Olympics, is currently in Herceg Novi, Montenegro, with his good friends Janko Tipsarevic and Viktor Troicki.

Djokovic, Tipsarevic and Troicki decided to hit a few balls and a number of tourists were impressed to see them in action.

Djokovic skipped this week’s Toronto Masters and he also won’t play at the Cincinnati Masters next week.

Djokovic praised by his coach

This week, Goran Ivanisevic spoke extremely highly of Djokovic. “Novak appeared at the top of world tennis after Federer and Nadal, when they had already gained a large number of fans.

Then a Balkan man came and messed up all their accounts. Novak says what he thinks, and many don’t like it. He speaks five languages, he is extremely intelligent, he is interested in everything and has his own way of life.

Some like the way he eats, some don’t like it, some laugh at the meditation he is dedicated to, while he fully believes in it. I admire him. I watch him in the morning like practicing yoga for an hour and a half, in an indescribable, fascinating way,” Ivanisevic told Jutarnji.

Ivanisevic is confident that Djokovic will one day finish as the greatest of all time. “It seems to me that it is not desirable to have an opinion today. The world should go for the better, but we are going in the opposite direction.

If in the 21st century you can’t say what you think, it’s a disaster. Novak does not fit into that western mold in which everything is arranged. He came from the Balkans where nothing was arranged and conquered them all.

He killed everything they have done so far and became the best tennis player of all time. He will soon prove it statistically and of course that many don’t like him because of that,” Ivanisevic said.
