Men’s Tennis Returns Home to Face Auburn

Baton Rouge—The No. 39 LSU men’s tennis returns home for the first time in a month to take on the No. 47 Auburn Tigers on Sunday, March 28 at 1:00 p.m. at the LSU Tennis Complex.

LSU was set to face Alabama on Friday, March 26, but due to COVID-19 contact tracing issues within Alabama’s program, the match was postponed. A makeup date for the match has not been set yet.

LSU sits at 10-8 on the season and 2-5 in conference play. LSU is looking to get out of their slump, falling in four of their last five matches.

Auburn sits at 6-11 on the season and they’re 2-6 in SEC play. They have gone through the gauntlet in their past four matches, falling to No. 4 Tennessee, No. 20 Georgia, No. 27 Tulane, and No. 8 Texas A&M.

Auburn has one ranked singles player, No. 42 Tyler Stice, who is 10-5 on the dual season. Their lone ranked duo is No. 41 Finn Murgett and Tad Maclean who are 14-9 on the season.
