Men’s Tennis Heads to Aiken on Tuesday for Neutral Site Match

CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina’s men’s tennis team will play Sun Belt member Georgia State at a neutral site in Aiken S.C. on Tuesday, March. 23 with a first serve scheduled for noon ET.

The Chanticleers enter the contest with a 4-2 overall record and sit at 1-0 in conference play. The Chants are coming off of a 6-1 win against regional opponent College of Charleston at home on March 20 and have won each of their last three home matches.

Fifth-year senior Bastien Huon leads the Chants with a 6-0 singles record at the No. 1 spot and is on an eight-match winning streak dating back to last year at Campbell, while seniors Gonzalo Achondo and Diego Giraldo are both riding a two-match winning streak of their own.

Georgia State enters the meeting with a 7-5 record on the year after defeating Chattanooga 5-2 on March 21. The Panthers will enter the action on a three-game winning streak as well.
