OXFORD, Miss. – Doubles play highlighted competition for the Alabama women’s tennis team on the second day of the Ole Miss Fall Invite at the Plamer/Salloum Tennis Center.
Loudmilla Bencheikh and Anne Marie Hiser put together a dominate performance in their first win as a doubles team. The UA duo rolled to a 6-0 score to defeat Sabina Machalova and Anaelle Leclerq from Ole Miss.
Anna Parkhomenko and Petra Sedlackova also rallied for their first win as a doubles tandem. The pair recorded a 6-3 decision to top the Rebels’ team of Kelsey Mize and Elysia Pool.
The Tide will close the Ole Miss Fall Invite Sunday. Doubles matches will begin at 9 a.m. CT. Alabama is schedule to compete in singles matches at 1 p.m. CT.
