ITTF Publishes Development Objective Report

The ITTF High Performance & Development department (HPD) has published the 2021 Annual Report, covering the Development Objectives set in the Master Continental Agreements.

It provides a comprehensive overview of the outcomes and achievements of the 2021 Development Programme for all Continental Federations.

The Continents and Participation Programmes represent the core of the ITTF Development Objectives. In addition, all stakeholders – mainly players and coaches – can benefit from the initiatives and projects implemented through the ITTF High Performance Programme. The hybrid model created in 2020 to overcome the impact of the pandemic continued to be used in 2021.

“We are proud to report that more than 160 Member Associations benefited from the different initiatives run on national, regional, and continental levels. Close to 11,000 individuals actively took part in online and onsite activities that covered a wide range of areas, such as players’ development, mentoring, para table tennis, gender balance, youth grants, management and many more, including equipment assistance.”
– Polona Cehovin, ITTF High Performance & Development Director

ITTF HPD is committed to reinforcing the grassroots level and empowering and assisting the Member Associations in mapping the way forward to climb up the performance pyramid. The Continental Federations play an essential role in this journey and join forces when designing and implementing the ITTF’s programmes.
