The Central Connecticut swimming and diving team was recognized by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) for its academic performance and was named to a Scholar All-America team for the Spring 2022 Semester it was announced. A total of 731 teams, representing 441 institutions, were named to the list. The Blue Devils posted a 3.21 GPA as a team in the spring.

The Blue Devils placed second at the Northeast Conference swimming and diving championships this spring. Central was recognized with the CSCAA academic award for the 40th consecutive semester.
Founded in 1922, the CSCAA, is the nation’s first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
