What Swim Meet Are You Most Excited For?

This is the Swim Poll of the Week for Thursday, September 16, 2021, sponsored by Strechcordz Swim Training Products. In our last poll, we wanted to know: What swim meet still to come in 2021 are you most excited for?

With the Olympics and the summer long course meets all concluded, the remaining event schedule for 2021 is highlighted by short course meters racing. In November, the three-week ISL playoffs will kick off in Eindhoven, Netherlands, and an improved turnout is expected after several of swimming’s stars attended only part of the ISL’s regular season or possibly none at all. In December, FINA will hold its Short Course World Championships in Abu Dhabi after the meet was pushed back from 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, in the United States, college swimming will begin in the coming weeks with dual meet action between teams of all levels, from powerhouses like the reigning Division I national champion Virginia women and Texas men to teams in Division II, Division III, NAIA and junior colleges. But the meet you’re most excited for may be something closer to home, a high school, age group or masters meet in which a friend or relative of yours or even you will be competing.

So which of these upcoming meets are Swimming World readers most excited for?
