World of Little League® Museum Set to Expand Hours Leading into Celebration of the 75th Little League Baseball® World Series in August

Starting on Thursday, June 2, 2022, the World of Little League® Museum and Official Store will be extending its hours and welcoming visitors from around the world to learn about the history of Little League® as it gears up to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Little League Baseball® World Series this August.

“From those stopping in on their way to and from their family vacations to the members of our own community getting ready for the Little League World Series in August, the summer is a great time for visitors of all ages to come out and enjoy the memorable experiences found within the World of Little League Museum,” said Adam Thompson, Little League Director of the World of Little League Museum. “We look forward to expanding our hours as we head into the summer months, and hope everyone has a chance to come join us in celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the World Series as we write the next chapter in the Little League story.”

With these extended hours, the Museum will now be open five days a week from Thursday through Monday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET. While closed to the public on Tuesday and Wednesday, groups are welcome to schedule private tours during that time period by emailing Museum@LittleLeague.org.

During their time at the Museum, visitors can check out some exciting new exhibits and displays from the past year, including artifacts from the 2021 Little League Baseball World Series, a unique display provided by Team USA Olympic Softball Gold Medalist Cat Osterman, exciting new self-guided Complex Walking Tours, and more.

In addition to the great displays on hand throughout the museum, visitors of all ages can test their skills with a variety of interactive exhibits, including the opportunity to see how fast they can run from home to first base or try and rob a home run ball at the fence. Regardless of age or Little League knowledge, the World of Little League Museum is a great opportunity to experience a piece of history.

During the visit, fans are also encouraged to stop by the Little League Main Gift Shop (located on the concourse behind Lamade Stadium and open Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.) to pick up Little League souvenirs and merchandise to remember their visit.
