Little League® International Mourns the Passing of Wendle Stiber, Former Connecticut District 3 Administrator

Little League® International remembers the life and contributions of Wendle Stiber, former Connecticut District 3 Administrator and Connecticut Little League Director. He was 87.

Mr. Stiber, a native of Waterbury, Connecticut, and resident of Naugatuck, Connecticut, at the time of his death, was a letter carrier for the United States Post Office.

Beginning his Little League service in Peter J. Foley Little League, Mr. Stiber volunteered 60 years to the Little League program. For 50 years, he attended the Little League Baseball® World Series played annually in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Mr. Stiber is survived by his niece and caregiver, Christina Dwire and her husband, Greg; his great-niece Maggie; great-nephew, JT; his niece, Cyndi; many cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Elizabeth Stiber; and brothers, Chester and Barry.
