Little League® International remembers Little League Baseball® World Series team host Stan Helt, Sr. He was 81.
Mr. Helt, a life-long resident of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, volunteered 16 years as a team host for the Little League teams that reached the Little League Baseball World Series played each August in Williamsport.
A supervisor with the Williamsport Municipal Water Authority for 45 years, Mr. Helt dedicated 40 years of volunteer service to Little League, serving as Newberry Little League President for 14 seasons.
Mr. Helt is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughters, Suzi, Gina, Nina, Sabrina, Talaya, and Sandreyah; brothers, Edward, and Walter; sister, Sophia; 19 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sons, Jaquill, and Stanley; and his parents, Edward, and Pauline Helt.
