Little League® International has announced the addition of two new Skilled Facilities Technicians, Cody Germello and Olen Brown, at the Little League International Headquarters in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, effective as of June 13, 2022.
“On behalf of the entire facilities team at Little League International, and our entire staff, we are honored to welcome Cody and Olen to our team here in Williamsport,” said John Swisher, Little League Director of Facilities. “Both Cody and Olen bring a multitude of experience to our team and will help us to continue to grow and develop our complex to provide the best possible experience to everyone who comes to visit throughout the year, especially each August during the Little League World Series.”
In this role, Mr. Germello and Mr. Brown will work alongside the Little League International Facilities team where they will be responsible for performing general maintenance, mechanical and small engine repairs, construction projects, and repairs to facilities and grounds throughout the Little League International Complex. Additionally, they will be responsible for conducting pool maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical equipment problems, and performing and scheduling preventative equipment maintenance procedures.
Cody Germello
Mr. Germello joins the Little League team after spending the past year working as a Millwright for Allison Crane and Rigging in Williamsport. A native of Central Pennsylvania, Mr. Germello has held various roles throughout the region working in warehouses as well as serving as a sales and customer service representative at multiple organizations dating back to 2005.
“This is a great opportunity for me and my family, and I am excited to get started,” said Mr. Germello. “I am honored to have been selected for this position and look forward to helping enhance the facilities around the Little League International Complex and providing the best possible experience to our fans each summer at the World Series.”
Olen Brown
A 2016 graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology, Mr. Brown joins the Little League team after serving as a Mechanic III for Nextier in Mill Hall, Pennsylvania, where he assisted with electrical troubleshooting, hydraulic rebuilds, mechanical replacements, and welding fabrications. In addition to his work as a mechanic, Mr. Brown also is a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard as a track/wheeled mechanic and aviation mechanic and spent a year on deployment as a mechanic in Kuwait/Iraq.
“I am honored to have the chance to work along side a team who provides joy and excitement to children and people not only in Williamsport, but all around the world,” said Mr. Brown.
