Little League® International has announced the elevation of Brent Stahlnecker, Director of Risk Management, to Senior Director of Risk Management, effective as of January 1, 2022.

Keener, Little League President and CEO. “Brent’s dedication to the Little League program has continued to grow during his nearly 20 years of employment, and his expertise and knowledge within the risk management and insurance areas of our organization have helped us to be able to provide a safe, memorable, and enjoyable experience for players and volunteers all around the world each year.”
In his new role as Senior Director of Risk Management, Mr. Stahlnecker will report directly to Joy McCoy, Little League International’s new Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, and oversee the organization’s risk management and insurance operations. Mrs. McCoy will join the Little League International staff on January 31, after 12 years of serving as a judge in the Lycoming County Court of Common Pleas.

Mr. Stahlnecker began his Little League career in August 2002 when he was named an Assistant Regional Director for the West Region offices in San Bernardino, California. In November 2011, he joined the Little League International Headquarters staff in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, as the Assistant Director of Risk Management and Insurance Operations, and in December 2018, was promoted to Director of Risk Management.
During his time in Williamsport, Mr. Stahlnecker has been pivotal in the management, implementation, and development of the Little League Insurance Programs, A Safety Awareness Program (ASAP), Child Protection Program, Concussion Safety Information, and other local league safety initiatives. In addition to his responsibility within the Risk Management department, Mr. Stahlnecker also serves as a member of the Little League International Tournament and Charter Committees.
Mr. Stahlnecker is a 2002 summa cum laude graduate of West Virginia University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in sport management with minors in business administration and communications, and a 1998 graduate of Warrior Run High School in Turbotville, Pennsylvania.
