Mark Williams, Ryan Day and John Parrott swapped cues for clubs on Wednesday when they competed in the Pro-Am at the Cazoo Open golf event at the Celtic Manor Resort in Wales.
The snooker trio teamed up with Japan’s Masahiro Kawamura for the event on the renowned Twenty Ten course at the Newport venue. In a modified scramble format, they finished with a team score of 23 under par, which left them seventh out of 20 teams. The winning team, led by Ross Fisher, scored 32 under.
Parrott, the 1991 World Champion, played off a handicap of 1, with three-time Crucible king Williams off 8 and three-time ranking event winner Day off 12.
