Ali Carter made the third 147 break of his career in the second frame of his last 16 clash with Elliot Slessor at the matchroom.live British Open in Leicester.
The Captain first crafted a perfect run at the 2008 World Championship, he also made a 147 at the 2017 German Masters qualifiers. Today’s contribution is the 168th maximum break in snooker history.
This was the second 147 of the week, after John Higgins’ maximum break in the opening round against Alexander Ursenbacher. The pair will now be in line to claim a £2,500 share each from the £5,000 high break prize.
