Zhik appoints East Coast Kit as new agents for the UK & Ireland

East Coast Kit has been appointed by Zhik as their new agent for the UK & Ireland. Headed up by Tristan Walker-Hutt, who has over a decade of experience in marine equipment, technical clothing and e-commerce, East Coast Kit is a team of experienced commercial agents and passionate sailors.
Hitting the ground running, they will be contacting all major UK & Ireland retailers over the coming weeks with opportunities to stock Zhik and forward order for the autumn and spring seasons. Tristan has a strong focus on supporting the existing retail network and ensuring Zhik has an exceptional network of outlets that provide outstanding service to sailors UK wide.
Tristan comments, “It’s fantastic to be back working with Zhik again, having previously worked in their team for seven years, driving sales growth in northern Europe. During that period Zhik grew from a niche dinghy brand into one of the leading, global technical clothing suppliers. We will be focused on maintaining a good mix of bricks and mortar destination stores alongside some of the best e-commerce watersports retailers in the world. We’re also excited to build up Zhik’s corporate and teamwear side of the business and working on specific projects”.
