The new YYachts Tripp 90 is one of the largest sailing yachts built in Germany and benefits from the expertise of a renowned shipyard and a talented architect, who already collaborated on the YYachts Y7.
Designed by the YYachts Custom department, the Tripp 90, named after her creator Bill Tripp, used carbon (hull, internal structures and rigging) for optimized wight savings, which makes her competitive in regatta and performant in blue water sailing.
Easy to maneuver and equipped with thrusters, the new Tripp 90 can be handled by a crew of three. Her modern design features a large deckhouse: the sea view is omnipresent even when seated in the saloon while light floods the interiors, designed by London-based Winch Design. Winch wanted starkness and openness, as underlined by both Scandinavian and East Coast American influences using leather and light oak.
The Tripp 90 has been nominated at the International Yacht & Aviation Awards, in the category “Sailing yachts up to 40 metres”.
