KCB make eight changes for third-place playoff match against Strathmore – Scrummage

KCB Rugby have effected eight changes to their starting squad that will be on duty in a Kenya Cup third-place playoff against Strathmore Leos on Saturday 3: 00 PM EAT.

Oscar Simiyu is back to the starting squad replacing Patrick Ouko. He will start alongside Wilfred Waswa and Curtis Lilako.

Manaseh Oduor comes in for Oliver Mang’eni with Davis Chenge moving to tight head lock. Steve Wamai paves way for Martin Owillah as Andrew Amonde and Peter Waitere retain their roles as loose forwards.

Brian Wahinya gets the nod to start at number nine with Samuel Asati dropping to the bench. Smith Muhoya is back at fly-half in the absence of Shaban Ahmed.

Max Kang’eri and Peter Kilonzo’s gaps are filled by Bob Muhati and Vincent Onyala. Jacob Ojee is absent and Michael Kimwele is on the open wing.

KCB will be eyeing the third spot having relinquished the title after losing to Oilers.
