The 20th gold bracelet of the 2021 World Series of Poker Online series was awarded in the early morning hours of Wednesday, July 21. Sang ‘youngkoi’ Lee emerged victorious from a field of 312 entries in the WSOPO $3,200 buy-in no-limit hold’em high roller event. Lee was awarded his first gold bracelet and the top prize of $241,768 as the champion.
This win helped Lee surpass half a million dollars in recorded tournament earnings. It was his largest career score, surpassing the $44,985 he earned as a fourth-place finisher in a $400 WSOPO event in 2020. In addition to his new bracelet, Lee also has a WSOP Circuit gold ring to his name, having won an online circuit event last spring for $36,618.
The top 36 finishers made the money in this event, with big names among those to cash including four-time bracelet winner Jeff ‘NedrudRelyt’ Madsen (33rd – $6,639), two-time bracelet winner and three-time World Poker Tour champion Anthony ‘heheh’ Zinno (20th – $7,588), six-time WSOPC gold ring winner Matt ‘RubberFist’ Stout (15th – $10,718), bracelet winner and 2010 WSOP main event third-place finisher Joseph ‘biueberry’ Cheong (11th – $13,184), and bracelet winner Ralph ‘sosana’ Perry (10th – $13,184).

Q into the pocket queens of Zachary ‘Kings702’ Grech to finish eighth for $21,341. Pocket queens also spelled the end of ‘MadMaz’ in this event. The A
9 of ‘MadMaz’ (7th – $28,549) was unable to improve, which resulted in the field being narrowed to just six players.
WSOP bracelet winner and 2021 main event fifth-place finisher Jeremy ‘Chipchecka’ Ausmus was the next to fall. He also got the last of his stack in with A9. Christopher ‘Basile28’ Basile called with JJ to put him at risk. A low, double-paired board saw Ausmus hit the virtual rail in sixth place ($38,129).

of Lee to finish fifth ($51,502). Lee took the lead into four-handed action, but was soon surpassed by Daniel ‘juice’ Buzgon. Christopher ‘Basile28’ Basile got all-in with pocket tens against the pocket sixes of Buzgon, and a six on the turn saw Buzgon spike a set to surge past Lee. Basile was awarded $71,990 as the fourth-place finisher.
David ‘dehhhhh’ Coleman had a breakout performance at the recent PokerGO Cup, cashing four times for $710,000 in total earnings across the high-roller series. His run in this bracelet event came to an end when his AK lost a preflop coin flip against the 99 of Buzgon. Coleman earned $102,720 for his latest strong showing.
Buzgon took roughly a 2:1 lead into heads-up play against Lee. The lead ended up changing hands multiple times, but it was Lee who has ahead when the final cards were dealt. Buzgon moved all-in for just shy of 14 big blinds from the button with K9. Lee called holding AQ. The board ran out 975JQ and Lee secured the pot and the title with top pair, top kicker. Buzgon was awarded $149,836 as the runner-up finisher.
