(JUNE 28, 2022) Parris Simmons jumped to the lead early, and drove to the 602 Late Model feature victory on June 24 Friday night at Georgia’s Lavonia Speedway.

Simmons, who hails from Baldwin, Georgia, started the night by setting fast time in qualifying with a lap at 17.500 seconds around the 3/8-mile clay raceway.

Simmons moved to the point on the drop of the green flag, with Cody Pritchett in tow. Simmons went on to lead all 15-laps en route to the victory.

Pritchett finished in second, with Rod Roberts in third, Shane Yarbrough in fourth, and Austin Fox in fifth.

Just a few laps later, he managed to track down Hunt and retook the lead. From there, Poole went on to score the win, while Hunt saw a strong finish go away after contact with David Dove sent Hunt spinning. Fowler went on to the win, with Tyler Johnson in second, Gains in third, Koltin Bryan in fourth, and Bryson Briscoe in fifth.
