30 STRONG DRIVER LINEUP ANNOUNCED AHEAD OF BELFAST’S GLOBAL MOTORSPORTS EVENT – Motorsport.ie

With  a few days to go until the motorsports event of the year graces the iconic Titanic Quarter, Belfast, the Red Bull Car Park Drift driver line-up has been revealed.

30 drivers from across Ireland will tackle an obstacle defined car park track, custom built on the banks of the River Lagan and overlooked by the spectacular Titanic Belfast and the original Harland & Wolff shipping yard.

The top 20 amateur drivers from the Irish Drift Championship automatically qualified for the event with 10 promising drivers invited by Red Bull to compete as Wildcards. The top 20 drivers will compete on Saturday, with the top 10 from the day qualifying for Sunday where they will meet the Wildcard drivers for a Heat, Top 8 and Final 4 battle. Drifters performances are judged over a total of 400 points by four expert judges.​​​​​​​

Red Bull Car Park Drift will mark the first of the 2022 series qualifiers in Belfast which will see a very special appearance and display from Ireland’s top drift racer, Red Bull Athlete Conor Shanahan.

With Sunday tickets now sold out, tickets are now available to purchase for Saturday 20th November at RedBull.ie/CarParkDrift.
