‘Wordle’ stats can now be tied to your New York Times account

A few days ago, The New York Times announced that it’s finally fixing the most annoying thing about Wordle: The fact that your stats weren’t linked to your NYT account. Instead, your stats would reset every time you played on a new device or browser.

Once your account is linked, your stats will be saved no matter which device you’re playing on, as long as you’re logged into your NYT account.

Alas, the feature wasn’t immediately enabled after the announcement, and NYT only said it’s coming “soon.”

Now, however, the Wordle team at Mashable can confirm that the feature is now available. I’ve tied my account on iOS, and the stats were happily there when I opened Wordle on my laptop.

The author of this article must sheepishly admit that these are not his stats. His stats are far, far poorer.
