Jets Keep Rolling Against Habs
The Jets will look to keep the momentum rolling when they take on the Habs at the MTS Centre on Monday. Winnipeg just concluded a five-game road trip in which they went 3-1-1 to pull within four points of the Maple Leafs for the top spot in the North Division. Montreal is coming off consecutive losses at the hands of Darryl Sutter and the Flames.
Winnipeg limited a loaded Toronto offense to just 22 shots on goal Saturday and got offensive contributions from each of their top-three forward lines. Nikolaj Ehlers had six points (three goals) during the three-game set against Toronto and sits top-20 in league scoring amidst a breakout season.

The Jets are playing with plenty of confidence right now, while the Habs are reeling. Connor Hellebuyck got the night off Saturday and will be well-rested for Monday’s game. Winnipeg has taken four of the last five meetings with Montreal and should be extra motivated after getting shellacked 7-1 by the Habs on March 6th.
The Jets are coming off their best defensive showing of the season to face a Montreal team that has been limited to a single goal in three of its past four games. Bet on the Jets and a rested Hellebuyck to keep rolling at home against a Habs team struggling to get things going offensively.
Pick: Winnipeg Jets (+100)

Bruins Bounce Back Against Streaking Penguins
The Bruins will be looking for a much better effort against the Penguins on Monday after failing to get anything going in a 4-0 loss to the Rangers on Saturday. It was arguably Boston’s worst performance of the season, as the team was outshot 21-10 and didn’t generate a single high-danger chance.
The Bruins have a good chance at rebounding against a Pittsburgh tam they’ve had plenty of success against in the past. Boston has taken four of the last five meetings with Pittsburgh, including back-to-back victories early in the season. One of the reasons for that success if goaltender Tuukka Rask, who is 11-6-3 with a .918 save percentage all-time against Pittsburgh.

The Penguins are favored in this game as they are currently in the midst of a five-game winning streak. It gets less impressive, however, when you consider two of those victories were against the slumping Sabres and the other three came against teams currently not in a playoff position.
Pittsburgh is very hard to beat at home, as demonstrated by their 11-2-0 record at PPG Paints Arena, but Boston is one of the league’s best road teams. The Bruins as moneyline underdogs is too good to pass up considering the B’s are coming off a brutal showing and are facing a team they’ve had plenty of success against of late.
Pick: Boston Bruins (-116)
