Week 5 is already upon us which means we’re already nearing the one-third mark of the 2021 NFL season. It seems like we’re barely out of training camp, but, instead, we’re in one of the best months of football. I’m not sure October football can be beat. As the weather begins to turn, teams begin to finally play to their true potential.
And while the Detroit Lions may still be seeking their first win, the rest of the league is providing some entertaining football, whether it be the offensive juggernaut that is the Arizona Cardinals, the flattening defense of the Cleveland Browns or the hilarity of whatever is currently happening in Jacksonville.
With a new week of football brings new opportunities for teams to make a statement. And for us Lions fans, it’s yet another opportunity to see Matthew Stafford in prime time. The Los Angeles Rams kick off Week 5 with a trip to Seattle. The Seahawks are tough to beat at home, but the majority of us have the Rams bouncing back after being humbled by the Cardinals last week.
