Now that the NFL schedule has been released and offseason practices are underway, fans are busy planning which games to attend during the regular season.
Last year, however, as you probably remember, there was very little of that.
Many NFL stadiums did not allow fans because of their local COVID-19 protocols. One year later, the league is anticipating having its venues at full capacity, and many teams are working to make that happen. Per league executive Peter O’Reilly, 30 teams currently have been approved to open at full capacity. Meanwhile, Denver and Indianapolis haven’t been cleared for full crowds but expect to be eventually.
Most teams have not announced yet whether there will be protocols for masks, vaccination requirements or other precautions.
