The 2020-21 NBA regular season kicked off on 22 December amid the coronavirus pandemic that continues to have a major impact on sporting events across the board.
Fortunately, a number of NBA teams have been able to allow a limited number of fans back into arenas, with fan attendance depending on several factors, including coronavirus guidelines that vary from state to state.
All 30 NBA teams have been working with their respective local health officials since before the start of the season to establish health and safety protocols, and as of now, 14 teams are allowing limited capacity attendance in their respective arenas.
Below is a list of the 14 teams that have been able to host fans, most of which have capacity set at 10% or lower. Three teams, Orland Magic, Utah Jazz and the Houston Rockets, are the only ones with a capacity limit of over 10% — currently operating at 21%, 21% and 25%, respectively. On the other hand, the Memphis Grizzlies are allowing some very limited courtside attendance at the FedEx Forum.
