Celtics-Rockets live stream: C’s look to extend Rockets’ 15-game skid originally appeared on NBC Sports Boston
The Boston Celtics will look to earn their first victory of the second half when they visit the Houston Rockets on Sunday night.
After falling to ex-Rockets star James Harden and the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday, the C’s face a Houston team that rides a whopping 15-game losing streak into the matchup. Its most recent defeat was a 114-99 loss to the Utah Jazz.
With the Rockets struggling mightily, oddsmakers have the Celtics pegged as 11-point favorites for Sunday’s matchup.
Celtics could land these trade targets at a more modest price
The only player missing for the C’s will be second-year swingman Romeo Langford due to health and safety protocols. The Rockets’ injury report could be much longer as they were without nine players vs. Utah.
The Rockets are 11-25 and 14th in the Western Conference while Boston enters with a 19-18 record and a fifth-place spot in the East.
