The Heat take on the Hornets in Charlotte as they look to rebound from their current five-game losing streak.
Things have been going better for the Hornets, who have gone 6-4 over their last 10 games and have won two straight since Rookie of the Year frontrunner LaMelo Ball went down for the season with a fractured right wrist.
Charlotte will greatly miss Ball’s production but should be able to stray afloat between the backcourt production of Terry Rozier and Devonte’ Graham, who combined for 46 points in their win over the Rockets on Wednesday.
This game will be interesting for Miami, with the Heat having just acquired guard Victor Oladipo from Houston without having to give up any key rotation players.
The Heat have ruled out Oladipo tonight, along with fellow deadline acquisition Nemanja Bjelica. Goran Dragic is out due to health and safety protocols, while Jimmy Butler is also questionable due to a stomach illness.
Our PRO Report suggests that sharp bettors are indeed expecting the Hornets to continue their winning ways at home. Let’s take a look.
