No. 4 seed Oklahoma State and projected No. 1 draft pick Cade Cunningham were knocked out of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday via an 80-70 loss to 13-seed Oregon State.
Oregon State, winners of the Pac-12 tournament title, led by 14 at halftime, forcing the Cowboys into a 27.7 percent shooting night. Cunningham, the consensus No. 1 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, finished with 24 points on 6-of-20 from the field.
Ethan Thompson scored 26 points to lead Oregon State, which will play eight-seed Loyola Chicago in the Sweet 16.
