#NBATopShotThis: LeBron James’ hangtime in reverse layup

LeBron James ceases to amaze us. At the age of 36, in his 18th NBA season, his athletic ability and level of play has been on full display this year.

One such play came against the Minnesota Timberwolves, a game the Lakers won 137-121, despite missing Anthony Davis.

A miscommunication between Anthony Edwards, the No. 1 overall pick of the 2020 NBA Draft, and Jarred Vanderbilt gave James a free run to the rim. A late contest at the basket by Karl Anthony-Towns means that ‘The King’ has to adjust.

And so he does, showcasing his hang time, floating in the air to eventually finish the reverse layup off the glass.

James finished the game with 25 points, 12 rebounds, and 12 assists for his 99th career triple-double.

Always one to provide highlight-worthy plays from every game, he has numerous plays on the Top Shot marketplace, ranging from $216 to as much as $250,000.
