We’ve got 11 games on the schedule for Monday, March 29, and there are plenty of big names on the injury report. We also are looking out for players who were acquired prior to the NBA Trade Deadline last week. Some of those names are still in the process of joining their new team and getting into the lineup. Here we’ll be monitoring all the latest injury news with some analysis and how to approach the injury for DFS and fantasy basketball.
NBA Injury Report: Monday, March 29
Mavericks PG/SF Luka Doncic is not on the injury report heading into Monday’s game vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder and is expected to play. With Doncic back in the lineup at $10,800, he’ll be a top target in tournaments for the slate. Tim Hardaway Jr. ($6,200) is a decent fade with Doncic back.
Jaylen Brown, SF, Boston Celtics
Celtics SF Jaylen Brown has been ruled out for Monday’s game vs. the New Orleans Pelicans. Brown being out is a slight bump for Jayson Tatum ($8,600) in tournaments. Evan Fournier ($6,500) is also available to make his team debut and could start for Brown.
Stephen Curry, PG, Golden State Warriors
Warriors PG Stephen Curry (tailbone) is questionable to play in Monday’s game vs. the Chicago Bulls. Curry ($9,400) would be a good GPP option if he’s able to return and isn’t on a minutes restriction. That may not be the case, however. If Curry remains out, we can keep rolling out Jordan Poole ($6,600). If Curry is back, Poole’s price is going to be too high and he’d be a fade candidate.
Christian Wood, C, Houston Rockets
Rockets C Christian Wood is questionable to play in Monday’s game vs. the Memphis Grizzlies due to an ankle injury. If Wood remains out, Kelly Olynyk ($4,400) will be a good value option after coming over from the Miami Heat. If Wood returns, at $8,400 he would be a tough call unless he’s going to start and play over 30 minutes.
