League Pass spotlight: Pacers vs. Jazz
The Pacers wrap up a four-game Western Conference road trip when they visit the Jazz in Salt Lake City on Thursday night.
It’s been a rough start to the season for Indiana, which has yet to welcome TJ Warren back into the lineup, while starters Malcolm Brogdon and Caris LeVert each missed more than one of the team’s first 10 games.
While others have been in and out of the lineup, head coach Rick Carlisle has leaned heavily on All-Star big man Domantas Sabonis, who is still a walking double-double. His frontcourt mate, Myles Turner, is working on winning the third blocks title of his career.
Opposite Turner is another center that knows a thing or two about blocks in three-time Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert.
Gobert, who is averaging 14.3 points and 15.9 (!) rebounds this season represents one-third of Utah’s All-Star triumvirate, the other two being Mike Conley and Donovan Mitchell. Behind that trio, the Jazz have zoomed out to an 8-3 record, including a perfect 4-0 at home.
