With six games on the slate tonight in NBA action, there are plenty of juicy matchups to choose from, and dozens of tempting players to put in your DFS lineups.
Sometimes with a plus-matchup on the NBA game slate, we get an opportunity to slot multiple players from the same team into our DFS lineups. You can read more about the concept of stacking here, but the main goal is to take advantage of this plus-matchup and use the salary cap to your advantage.
Here, we’ll break down three of the best team stacks for the NBA slate on Thursday, March 18th.
Donovan Mitchell ($8,700)

Jordan Clarkson ($6,100)
Joe Ingles ($5,200)
Grabbing the top two stars on the Jazz is an obvious move as they take on the Wizards tonight, but rounding out a team stack with lower-priced, high-scoring players like Jordan Clarkson and Joe Ingles is where you can really maximize your lineup’s output. Clarkson, who’s been averaging 29.2 DKFP per game this season, has a relatively high ceiling in games where he shines — which happens pretty often. He’s amassed over 30 DKFP in four of his last 10 games, while scoring under 20 just once in that same stretch. With Mike Conley ruled out for tonight’s contest, Clarkson’s performance could improve as he’s all but guaranteed to see even more minutes than usual. Ingles is in a similar situation, although he’s not quite as explosive as Clarkson even in his good games. You can always count on Ingles dropping a few three-pointers, making roughly 46% of his shots from beyond the arc throughout the season so far.

While James will take up a good chunk of your salary, you’re going to save some on the lower end by picking up Horton-Tucker, who has been absolutely essential in the last couple games as he’s seen increased minutes from his usual play. He’s averaged 35.6 DKFP over his last two outings, more than doubling his season average of 16.6. He posted his first career double-double the other night against the Warriors where he went for 18 points and 10 assists through 28 minutes on the court. Montrezl Harrell has been clutch for the Lakers as well in the absence of Anthony Davis (calf), averaging a huge 40.4 DKFP through his last five games. Kuzma isn’t far behind, averaging 36.15 DKFP in that same stretch, adding some much-needed value at a decent price tag.
Zion Williamson ($8,900)

Lonzo Ball ($6,900)
Eric Bledsoe ($5,100)
While this may be the most expensive stack mentioned here, the Pelicans have a few obvious proven scorers as Williamson and Ingram have proven time and time again that they can carry the load for their team. Zion’s averaged an impressive 41.7 DKFP per game throughout this season, and is coming off a 47.25 DKFP performance a couple nights ago when the Pelicans saw their win stolen by Damian Lillard and the Blazers in the dying seconds. Ingram put up 41.5 DKFP in that game, while Ball added 46.25 with his staggering 17 assists, and Bledsoe rounded out his game with 21 DKFP. Whether the Pelicans win tonight’s game is irrelevant, as the combination of these players is sure to add plenty for your lineup’s performance, especially when you can grab someone like Bledsoe for just above $5k. This stack is cheaper than going for a similar setup from Portland, while promising to be just as efficient, if not more so.
