LeBron James enters NBA’s health and safety protocols

Lakers forward LeBron James is out against the Kings.

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has entered the NBA’s health and safety protocols, the team announced.

James will be sidelined for Tuesday’s game against the Sacramento Kings.

The 36-year-old superstar has played in half of the Lakers’ games this season, averaging 25.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 6.8 assists across 11 starts.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, James will be sidelined for at least 10 days, or unless he returns two negative COVID-19 tests moving forward.
