Portland Trail Blazers fans don’t need video proof of Damian Lillard’s ability to summon up game-winning shots in clutch situations. They’ve seen it since 2012. For the rest of the world, ESPN tweeted a mixtape of Lillard’s great shots, one against every opponent across the NBA.
The clip includes the obvious playoff-series-winning shots against the Houston Rockets in 2014 and the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2019, but also reminds us all of key moments fans might have forgotten.
These moments include the last second logo shot against the Cleveland Cavaliers in December 2013, another against the then New Orleans Hornets in 2012 and an overtime drive to win a close one against the Denver Nuggets in October 2016.
Lillard hasn’t slacked off in recent times, hitting a ridiculous logo shot against the Brooklyn Nets during last year’s bubble, there’s his buzzer beater against the Chicago Bulls in late January and last night’s dagger three against the Sacramento Kings.
