Draymond Green rips NBA for confusing COVID-19 testing

Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green is not one to keep himself. What recently drew the ire of the three-time All-Star is the league’s COVID-19 testing protocols and unsurprisingly, Green went on an all-out tirade blasting the NBA for the same.

The Dubs were apparently in the middle of a COVID-19 testing debacle, and true to form, Green made sure to make his honest, unfiltered feelings known about it via Twitter:

The league has been implementing very strict protocols to combat the spread of the coronavirus, and it has resulted in more than a few hiccups along the way. Unfortunately for them, Green and Co. were the latest victims of the same, which appears to have left them with a lack of sleep for their next game.

The Warriors are set to return to action on Sunday afternoon, and according to Green, who himself also had a few things to say about his own Hall of Fame legacy, they enter their matchup against the league-best Utah Jazz at a disadvantage. The Dubs will be hosting the mighty Jazz on Sunday, and they need to be at their very best if they hope to emerge victorious in this marquee matchup.

Golden State enters Sunday’s bout on a four-game losing skid. They have fallen out of the playoffs picture in the West and are currently one game behind the eighth-seeded Dallas Mavericks. It’s going to be a tough road ahead for the Warriors the rest of the way, and unfortunately for them, they have no other choice but to get used to the NBA’s stern measures in combating COVID-19. At the end of the day, it’s for the better good.
