Bank on these NBA player prop predictions, 3/20/21

The NBA is serving up a small five-game slate Saturday but there are juicy matchups that are ripe for plucking player props. Below, we highlight a couple of NBA player prop bet predictions to consider Saturday.

PG LaMelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets play their second straight game at the Staples Center this time against SF Kawhi Leonard’s Los Angeles Clippers.

The Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies meet in a rematch from Friday, which could have playoff implications down the line as both squads would be competing in the Western Conference’s postseason play-in tournament if the season ended today.

Charlotte Hornets PF P.J. Washington OVER 1.5 made 3-pointers (+120)

I love getting plus-money on Washington’s 3-pointers prop because he has cleared 1.5 made threes in six straight games, seven of his past eight and 10 of his last 12 games.

Furthermore, if Clippers PF Serge Ibaka misses Saturday’s Hornets-Clippers game, L.A.’s defense becomes even softer. Washington figures to play as more of a stretch-4 this game because Hornets C Bismack Biyombo is replacing an injured Cody Zeller in the starting lineup.

Biyombo rarely leaves the paint on offense so Washington should be used to help Charlotte’s floor spacing in hopes of opening driving lanes for the backcourt.

BET P.J. WASHINGTON OVER 1.5 made 3-pointers (+120) for 1 unit.

San Antonio Spurs SF DeMar DeRozan OVER 19.5 points (-105)

The Milwaukee Bucks host the Spurs Saturday. DeRozan returned to action after a four-game absence Friday against the Cleveland Cavaliers and scored a very efficient 20 points for the third straight game and fifth out of his last six. He has put up 20 points or more points in 19 of his 31 games played this season.

Also, DeRozan has played well against the Bucks in his career. He is averaging 27.8 points per game on 56.7% shooting in his last 12 games vs. Milwaukee and DeRozan has scored 20 or more in 11 of those 12 contests.

BET 1 unit on D. DeRozan OVER 19.5 POINTS (-105).
