2021 NBA All-Star Game MVP: Stephen Curry, Giannis Antetokounmpo leading Team LeBron

The 2021 NBA All-Star Game is underway on Sunday night in Atlanta. Here we’ll be tracking the performances from Team LeBron vs. Team Durant and updating you on the MVP race. After each quarter, you can check back in here and see who is in the lead in terms of points and highlights. Here are a few favorites to win All-Star Game MVP on DraftKings Sportsbook. You can find the complete list of odds here.

Second Quarter Update — Steph is still spraying. Curry has scored 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting. He’s 6-of-8 from deep and has hit a pair of three from the parking lot. Giannis Antetokounmpo has a game-high 24 points. Three members of Team Durant have more than 10 points, but none of them stand out as MVP candidates at the break. Curry’s flashy shooting makes him the clear frontrunner in my book. He’s not showing any fatigue after winning his second three-point contest.

First Quarter Update — Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kyrie Irving reached double-digits in points halfway through the first quarter and are among the early frontrunners for the MVP Award. Antetokounmpo has 11 points, while Irving has 10. Stephen Curry knocked down a pair of turnaround threes and a third triple from close to half court. Don’t be surprised if he continues to light it up from deep. Curry has a game-high 12 points and has come away with a couple of sneaky steals. Team LeBron holds a 40-39 lead heading into the second frame.
