NASCAR fans are going to have a chance to take in Mother’s Day with one of the sport’s greatest traditions: a race at Darlington Raceway.
The Goodyear 400 at the Darlington Raceway is set to take place on Sunday in the second straight year the spring race in Darlington will be for 400 laps.
Few drivers currently in the Cup Series have owned the race like Denny Hamlin. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver has won at Darlington four times already, and his average finish at the track is 7.1, according to Racing Reference, his best track of any on which he has raced at least 10 times.

Sunday’s race will be carried by FS1 in the U.S., and TSN5 in Canada.
Mike Joy will be providing lap-by-lap action with Clint Bowyer providing analysis. The Fox broadcast teams have had rotating analysts to replace Jeff Gordon, who left to join Hendrick Motorsports as an executive, and this Sunday, there will be three different guest analysts in the booth. Richard Petty will be in for the first stage, Bobby Labonte will be in for the second stage and Bill Elliott will be in the booth for the third stage.
