Truck Series starting lineup: Fr8Auctions 200 starting grid for Saturday’s NASCAR race at Atlanta

NASCAR opens up their weekend of events with the Fr8Auction 200 Truck Race on Saturday, March 20th. The race is set to begin at 3:30 p.m. ET and will air on FS1.

John Hunter Nemechek and Kyle Busch will open on the front row. Qualifying runs were not utilized due to COVID-19, which means race order was once again determined through a performance-metrics formula. The metric is split as follows: 25 percent of the metric comes from a driver’s finishing position from the previous race, 25 percent comes from the car owner’s finishing position from the previous race, 35 percent comes from the team owner’s points ranking, and 15 percent comes from the fastest lap from the previous race.

Busch is the heavy favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook, installed at -118 to win. The next closest is Nemechek, who is installed at +600. Busch finished second in the Las Vegas truck race and has finished worst than second just twice dating back to 2018.

Here is the full lineup for Saturday’s 2021 Fr8Auctions 200 Truck Series race.
