It is a well-known fact that candy brand M&Ms is a long-time sponsor of Kyle Busch. Recently, the candy maker was promoting its line of fudge brownie candy to boost sales. Naturally, they turned to none other than the Candyman himself, Kyle Busch. In light of this, the 35-year old is expected to run in a brand new livery at the Homestead-Miami Speedway.
So, instead of the usual bright yellow livery with the M&Ms decal, the car will sport a lavender base. Needless to say, the rest of the car will be adorned with M&Ms decals and images of the fudge brownie on the hood.
Admittedly, the Joe Gibbs Racing driver has a bit of a mountain to climb. This is largely because he is starting all the way back in 24th place. On the bright side, pole position is not a surefire guarantee for race victory, so there is a chance for Busch to step up.
What lies ahead in the race for Kyle Busch?
Admittedly, Kyle has a fairly decent record at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. This is because he boasts of two wins at the speedway, namely in 2015 and in 2019. Naturally, the Joe Gibbs Racing driver will be eager to repeat that feat for a third time.
Needless to say, the Las Vegas native will grace the track with his colorful car. Without a doubt, he will be in the hunt for a maiden win in the 2021 Cup Series season. At it turned out, Kyle Busch went almost an entire season without a win, with a Texas Motor Speedway triumph being his saving grace.
Now, the #18 driver enters the 2021 Cup season with renewed purpose. Busch is determined to make up for his dismal 2020 season and mount a stiffer challenge for the 2021 crown. However, things will not be easy for him, as there is still a long way to go.
