Harvick has won the Pennzoil 400 twice in his career, in 2018 and ’15, which makes him one of this weekend’s favorites on the 1.5-mile oval. But he’s not the only driver with a history of success in the race.

In fact, Joey Logano will arrive in Las Vegas as the two-time defending Pennzoil 400 champion. He’ll start his quest for a three-point from the 15th position.

William Byron joins Harvick in the frontline of the starting lineup, while Kyle Larson, Martin Truex Jr. and Michael McDowell round out the Top 5. Truex won the race in 2017. Denny Hamlin, who leads the NASCAR Cup Series standings through three races, will start in the XXth position and try to score his third Top 5 finish of the young season.

Harvick, Logano and McDowell sit in second, third and fourth in the Cup Series standings, respectively, opening an opportunity Sunday for one of the drivers to surge forward.
