The three NASCAR circuits will be racing in the desert this weekend. The Cup, Xfinity, and Truck Series will all be at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and the weather looks to be nearly perfect all three days.
There will be no qualifying due to COVID-19 protocols, which means we get the races and that’s it. Even if there was qualifying, weather would not be a concern. While it does rain in Las Vegas, there is basically zero chance of it this weekend. It might get a little cool on the back half of Friday’s Truck Series race, but otherwise it should be great driving weather.
The weekend opens on Friday with the Bucked Up 200 Camping World Truck Series race. The race gets going at 9 p.m. ET (6 p.m. in Las Vegas and Ben Rhodes will be sitting in the pole position. On Saturday, the Xfinity Series is on display with the Alsco Uniforms 300. That gets going at 4:30 p.m. ET with Myatt Snider sitting in the pole position. The weekend wraps on Sunday with the Cup Series main event. The Pennzoil 400 gets underway at 3:30 p.m. ET with Kevin Harvick in the pole position.
