For this weekend’s NASCAR Cup race, the paddock heads to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. In light of that, 23XI Racing and Bubba Wallace are rolling out a special paint scheme. In partnership with Columbia, the African-American driver is running in a black and sky blue livery.
Of course, the Columbia logo will be present on the car’s hood. Meanwhile, other sponsor logos like Doordash, McDonald’s, and Root Insurance will be present, but not as prominent.
Wallace has some pretty high hopes this Sunday because he has performed well at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
In fact, Wallace boasts of a sixth place finish in the 2020 season. However, that was the only time he ever broke into the Top 10 at the track. Now, he will be keen to go a step further with his new team, 23XI Racing.
What lies ahead for Bubba Wallace?
This season, Wallace has a lot to prove to his new team. His team owners are an ambitious bunch and will have high expectations of him.
Known as a driver who can bring out the best in his machine, the outfit is confident that Wallace can lead them to glory. Unfortunately, luck often deserted him in the 2020 season.
Whether it is getting caught up in crashes or technical issues, it has done him no favors. The good side is that it is still early days in the 2021 Cup Series season. So, there is plenty of time for Bubba Wallace to get his act together and perform well for the team.
Admittedly, nobody knows how the drivers will line up for next weekend’s race. However, the officials will likely publish the grid very soon.
Without a doubt, Bubba Wallace is certainly capable of winning a race, it is just a matter of time until he reaches Victory lane.
