UFC Star ‘Goes Broke’ After Dustin Poirier Fight

Dustin Poirier is currently one of the most popular fighters in all of the UFC, especially after his win over Conor McGregor at UFC 264.Megan Fox also previously dropped a bombshell related to Dustin Poirier.

In spite of being one of the biggest stars in the UFC, it seems things are not going all that well financially for lightweight contender Dan Hooker. Dan Hooker took to Twitter and asked if there were any jobs for him to do to make ends meet.

Any jobs going?

It is not exactly known if Dan Hooker is in great need of money or if he simply desires an extra form of income. He has fought only twice in 14 months. He lost both of his fights against Dustin Poirier in June 2020 and Michael Chandler in January earlier this year.

Dan Hooker is scheduled to return to the Octagon against Nasrat Haqparast at UFC 266 later this month. However, New Zealand’s rigid restrictions against COVID-19 might make it difficult for him to leave the country. He is also fighting for his late friend.

“It’s fueled my thirst to get out there and fight. I have always have that thirst, but it’s definitely added an incredible amount of fuel to the fire,” Hooker told Sporting News ahead of UFC 266.
