Knockout! Johns sleeps dos Santos with massive right hand at UFC 265

After the first round of Miles Johns vs. Anderson dos Santos at UFC 265, Anderson limped back to the corner and said “I’m screwed. I can’t even step backwards.” Like every other corner in MMA, they sent him back out there where he gutted out another round of the fight. But in round three, Miles Johns finally caught dos Santos with enough heat to put him down. A massive left to the body followed by a right to the daw left dos Santos dazed and confused on the canvas.

Take a look at the ridiculous knockout here:

It was Miles Johns’ fight for pretty much the entire 15 minutes. Black belt dos Santos barely managed to even attempt any takedowns, and once Johns kicked his leg out from under him it was only a matter of time.

Gotta give some credit to dos Santos though, who put on a Kris Moutinho-like performance, moving forward endlessly into the meat grinder that was Miles Johns.

The win puts Johns at 1-3 UFC (12-1 MMA) with a two fight knockout streak. Dos Santos drops to 1-3 UFC (21-9 MMA).
